Pravin J Gordhan, MP, has requested that SACCI members assist in guiding and informing government policy-making and in developing a more supportive business environment. He has according asked that members complete a survey to inform the process. The request from the Hon Minister, the link to a questionnaire and the username and password are included in the letter from the Hon Minister which follows.

It would be valued if you would please complete the questionnaire to be accessed by following the link, and submit it directly to McKinsey and Company who are the consultants who will analyse the responses. Your participation in the survey will be highly appreciated.

Dear South African business leaders,
 
A healthy business climate is critical to economic development, reducing poverty and unemployment, and enabling a stable socio-economic environment.  The National Treasury is undertaking a research initiative to explore the opportunities and challenges related to improving the business climate in South Africa.

We would like to gain the perspectives and insights of business leaders regarding factors affecting your local business investment decisions.  This includes understanding the most critical supporting elements that need to be in place for you to invest, as well as which factors you currently experience to be the greatest obstacles to additional/continued investment.
