If you have ANYTHING to do with the business of importing or exporting goods then you need to know about the latest version Incoterms® 2010 Rules that come into effect on the 1 January 2011.

The new terms will be launched in South Africa from 17 September at training sessions across the country.  The sessions will provide you with an overview of the terms as well as a complete understanding of the risk, cost and responsibilities that these terms provide in every transaction.  Additionally each attendee with receive the latest official ICC Incoterms® 2010 on a CD.

Businesses are invited to an outward mission to London in the United Kingdom during 20 -24 September 2010.  This mission is a direct initiative resulting from the State Visit made by President Zuma and South African businesses in March this year, where both countries through our Ministers, have tasked UK Trade & Investment and the South African Department of Trade and Industry in the doubling of bi-lateral trade and investment from £9bn in the next five years.
